Georgia: 5 caught in alcohol sales sting that visited 31 establishments in Rome, Floyd County

Five people charged with selling alcohol to minors during a sting operation at various outlets in Rome and Floyd County were released from jail Thursday after posting bonds of $1,300 each.

According to Rome police reports:

The arrests were part of an underage alcohol operation conducted Wednesday by members of the Rome-Floyd Metro Task Force in partnership with the Georgia Department of Revenue. A total of 31 establishments were visited by the task force. ∞∞∞∞∞ MORE »»»»
