Brazil: Also wants coal exit as G7

Brasilia (dpa-AFX) – Brazil will follow Germany and the other G-7 countries with the aim of completely get out by the end of the century from the use of coal, oil and gas. This is clear from the draft climate statement at the first German-Brazilian intergovernmental consultations. The draft is before the German Press Agency. “The environmental statement is a big step forward,” it said in German government circles on the sidelines of the meeting on Thursday in Brasília.
