Ohio: All Ohio Judges Must Perform Gay Marriages – No Religious Freedom?

“There shall be no religious freedom in Ohio,” is not what The Board of Professional Conduct of the Supreme Court of Ohio said, but it might as well have been. The board determined that “Ohio judges who perform civil marriages may not ethically refuse to perform civil marriages involving same-sex couples while continuing to perform marriages involving opposite-sex couples.”

“Well, then I just won’t perform any marriages, at all.” Not so fast, hypothetical man.
