HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) –
Tropical Storm Hilda is moving very slowly on a track that will take its center just to the south of the Big Island, but there is still a threat of heavy showers and flash flooding.
Forecasters said at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Hilda was centered 260 miles southeast of Hilo, or 470 miles southeast of Honolulu, and was moving toward the northwest at 3 mile per hour. It is expected to continue moving at this speed through the day, followed by a gradual turn toward the west and an increase in forward speed through Friday. ∞∞∞∞∞ MORE »»»»
