Georgia: Polk Co. VICE Unit to get new officer In Cedartown Georgia

Polk County Police Chief Kenny Dodd is beefing up the county’s VICE unit to combat an alarming increase in thefts in Polk County.

Dodd told Public Safety committee members during their April 30 meeting that he is re-assigning an officer to Vehicle Interdiction and Crime Eradication, or VICE, unit. Dodd set the unit up last year to address the growing number of thefts occurring in his jurisdiction and to combat crime overall in the department. ∞∞∞∞∞ SEE MORE ∞∞∞∞∞
